4 Ups And 3 Downs From NXT Worlds Collide

3. Damon Kemp Is The Traitor?

Months of watching Roderick Strong disintegrate as a leader and Diamond Mine become a dysfunctional group finally gave way Sunday to a complete collapse when one of their own turned on the stable.

But it wasn’t Roddy who finally showed his true colors. In fact, Strong was laid out in the parking lot (the most dangerous place in NXT!) and carted off to the hospital, where he was still unconscious at the time of Worlds Collide.

Instead, it was Damon Kemp who first saved Julius Creed from a cheapshot attack during the tag title unification match and then waffled Julius with a steel chair to signify his turn against Diamond Mine (or at least, the Creeds).

The question that remains is whether Kemp is acting alone and laid Strong out too, or if there’s more to this. But seeing how Damon didn’t really fit in anyway, this works fine. And it further babyfaces the Creeds as they were cheated out of their tag titles by one of their own.
