2. Using Mark Henry To Put Over Roman Reigns Was Smart

The top of the second hour featured a promo by Roman Reigns talking about how people talk about what he can't do, but at WrestleMania he's going to show what he can do. While it wasn't some great promo, Reigns spoke with convince while talking about how he's going to make his family proud at WrestleMania. Mark Henry came out in his ring gear looking in pretty good shape for a guy in his early 40s that has had a number of injuries lately. Henry got in Reigns face to say he wasn't sure that he could beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Henry told Reigns he had to earn his respect. When Henry kept pushing Reigns to prove himself including a shove to the face, Reigns nailed Henry with a Superman Punch. With Henry outside the ring, Reigns gave him a Spear into the barricade that ended up knocking down the barricade. It was a very impressive sight. Reigns confidently said "I can and I will" referring to winning the WWE Title. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2O2Txdf4kw Following that in-ring segment, Henry was shown backstage getting looked at by a doctor. He admitted that he pushed Reigns and that Reigns made a believer out of him. Henry said he he's not saying that Reigns will definitely beat Lesnar, but he believes he can. This was an example of how you can have very effective segments on Smackdown to help progress storylines. It wasn't an official match although it seems like it could lead to something they can do on Raw to make Reigns "look strong" by beating Henry.
