4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (May 28)
2. Second Smackdown In A Row With A Raw Rematch Main Event
This is why Smackdown doesn't matter to the average fan. They don't do anything that's really that fresh on the show and it's been this way for so long that fans aren't going to tune in because they know if they read spoilers there's nothing on there that will keep their interest. For the second week in a row, WWE took a match that took place on Raw and did it again on Smackdown. Last week it was Dean Ambrose against Bray Wyatt with Wyatt winning on Raw and then Ambrose getting his win back immediately on Smackdown. This week's Smackdown saw a repeat of the Ambrose/Reigns vs. Kane/Rollins match that was on Raw. It's as if WWE doesn't even care about booking fresh or exciting things on this show on purpose. It's tough to understand considering they are being paid millions of dollars to produce a show on worldwide TV, yet they are unable to do things that actually seem unique on Smackdown. Perhaps that will change in 2016 when Smackdown is on USA Network. One can only hope that is the case.
