4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (Sept 10)

4. Booker T Is Back On Commentary And Felt Out Of Place

When Booker was on Raw, he fit in well with Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield. He was the face announcer that was there to root on the good guys while JBL supported the heels. It was a natural thing for him. On Smackdown this week, Booker made a lot of comments that suggest he's now a heel announcer. He defended Big Show even though he nailed Mark Henry with a punch to knock him out. At the end of the show, he was saying how Rollins won clean even though it was a cheap win. There was really no warning for Booker's turn, but WWE must have encouraged him to be more of an argumentative heel announcer instead of being a face like he was before. I just don't think it's the best way to utilize Booker as an announcer.
