4 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Nov 30)

Ups...

4. Advantage, Kay Lee Ray

Dakota Kai

Throwing us straight in the deep end from the get-go this week, a rolling start of sorts saw the two set of Women's WarGames squads kick seven lumps of sh*t out of one another on the ramp before Kay Lee Ray and Dakota Kai's bout had even begun.

Once the rest of their units had been ushered into the back, though, the pair of devilish performers set about massacring their adversary via sickening superkicks, jaw-dropping sentons to the outside, and a facebuster onto the steps for the ages - and this was just the opening five minutes!

Ramping up the drama throughout and making the WarGames Advantage actually feel like a prize worth destroying your anatomy for, Ray and Kai combined savagery and innovation to execute a variety of cruel and unusual ways to create a clear opening to climb the ladder. With arguably the most chilling being the former NXT UK Women's Champion dragging Kai down a step and slamming her back-first into the steel as she dangled in despair.

Not even a wicked double stomp from atop the ladder could get the job done for The Captain of Team Kick, however, with Ray overcoming a dodgy knee to unhook the briefcase and simultaneously get us off to a flyer in 2.0 land this week.

More of this, if it's not too much trouble, yeah?
