4 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Raw (June 29)

3. Welcome Back Ricochet

It really isn’t going to do much good to lament the downfall of someone as highly touted as Ricochet – because WWE just isn’t going to change its poor decision-making ways.

But after seven weeks without a televised match, Ricochet returned to Raw Monday night to help bail out Apollo Crews from an attack by Bobby Lashley, only for Lashley to then demolish WWE’s resident superhero in typical David versus Goliath fashion. Lashley threw Ricochet around like he was a ragdoll, giving him some token offense before shrugging it all off and laying him out.

Then, just to rub it in, Bobby hooked a full nelson on Cedric Alexander and left him lying after the match, because why not?

Yes, Lashley needs the win way more than Ricochet, obviously, but still, it’s sad to watch a personal favorite get treated like an afterthought.
