5 AEW Stars Who Could Dethrone Jade Cargill As TBS Champion

1. Athena

Jade Cargill
AEW

At the top of the list is none other than Athena.

The former NXT Women's Champion shockingly became All Elite at this past May's Double or Nothing pay-per-view, making her presence known after Jade Cargill has successfully defended the TBS Title against Anna Jay.

While being locked into a feud with Cargill ever since, Athena has yet to have a one-on-one match against That Bitch for the coveted title. However, all signs point to that bout happening sooner rather than later, with next month's All Out the most likely destination for this contest.

Making her AEW in-ring debut on the 3 June edition of AEW Rampage, the one-time Ember Moon has already picked up a win over Jade's Baddies stablemate Kiera Hogan.

She may have lost in tag action, but Athena is still undefeated in singles competition during her short time in AEW. Her unblemished 5-0 singles record means the War Goddess is clearly on Cargill's radar. Should the two indeed do battle at All Out, it's a case of someone's 0 has got to go - and maybe it's Athena who ends up handing Jade her first ever loss.
