5 Awesome WWE Network Shows And 5 That Are Terrible
6. Terrible - Camp WWE
Ah, the coup de grace. No, not a Finn Bálor reference, although watching Finn's body paint dry would be better than this nonsensical show. This Family Guy wannabe has to be the worst thing WWE has ever produced... maybe except for anything that Mike Adamle was involved in. But in all seriousness, what is this show supposed to be?
It is billed as an "adult comedy" by a company who is proudly PG. A company that blurs out blood, bleeps out words far less offensive than those with four letters, and allows little to no sexual innuendo produces a show with all of the above available... and on demand no less!
Satire is fun and all and if there is a good part of the show, it has to be that Vince McMahon makes fun of himself by voicing the character of... himself. But other than this, they make fun of Steve Austin's accent, bury Mark Henry for his weight (he has a whole cake stuck in his throat for a whole episode, no really) portrays the daughter of the chairman as a loose member of a possible "Hoooo Train" and also shows the biggest star in the company, John Cena, as a whiny little brat.
Wow, that is a lot of sophomoric, lazy shtick but hey, what else would you expect when someone green lights promos for live TV with the words "sparkle crotch" in a wrestling promo? 2016 has been weird.
