5 Best & 5 Worst Wrestling Championship Designs In The World Right Now
1. Worst - AEW Women's World Title
There is no excuse for this. It almost feels like a practical joke when AEW attempt to make their women's division seem as important as the men's when there is such a disparity between the main titles.
While the men's belt is massive and utterly detailed, the women's is unbelievably tiny, to the extent that it looks more like a toy than a title. Even the TNT Championship outsizes it, and as such it doesn't lend any credibility to the women's division.
The shape of the belt - even without its minuscule size - is unappealing as the oval centrepiece looks uncomfortable and never quite manages to fit on a shoulder or waist well at all.
The design itself has small pieces of detail to it, but nothing specific enough to add a distinct identity to the championship, and the deliberate use of mostly silver makes it lack any sense of grandiosity.
If AEW wants their women's division to be treated seriously, then maybe they should think about upscaling this lacklustre design.
