4. Losers: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

As Benjamin Franklin once said: “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes, and The Club ending-up in the ‘Losers’ column.”

It was another disastrous week for Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, who are amassing the kind of losing streak that would make even Alan Pardew blush. The duo look to have finally gotten over their obsession with The New Day’s reproductive organs, but this feud is doing none of its participants any favours, and The Club took another big hit last night.

The New Day were in the ring celebrating that their reign as WWE Tag Team champions had hit the one-year mark. Out came Gallows & Anderson to interrupt, and point-out that because they technically won (via DQ) at SummerSlam, they should be entitled to a shot at the belts. This lead to a one-on-one match between Big E and Anderson (rather than a tag match, because apparently logic no longer exists in WWE’s tag division), which saw Karl take a momentum crippling-loss in just over three minutes.

Gallows & Anderson are yet to produce a single credible in-ring performance since joining WWE. Once booked like the most dangerous tag team on the planet in NJPW, they’re now presented as hopeless buffoons who can’t even talk the talk, let alone walk the walk. Their stock can’t keep falling on a weekly basis if they’re ever going to do anything with the company: a few more weeks like this, and they’ll be dead in the water.
