3. Losers: Bayley & Dana Brooke

WWE deserve a smidge of credit for trying to do something with Dana Brooke. She was called up from NXT too early, absolutely, but she’s on the main roster now, and the writers can’t just ignore her. Bayley is one of the most esteemed performers in the division, and pairing Dana with her should be a huge boon to the latter’s young career.

Unfortunately, their feud has been a complete trainwreck, and after last week’s horrendously botched finish, this week’s "advancements" were just as bad. Dana and Bayley engaged in an arm wrestling match, which is a dull enough concept in itself, and the crowd absolutely destroyed it. Chants of “this is stupid” rang out through the building as Dana targeted Bayley’s injured arm, and there’s absolutely no heat on either woman as the feud progresses.

WWE have achieved something remarkable in getting the fans to chant “boring” during a Bayley segment. The Dana feud has been disastrous for her momentum, particularly after her white hot debut in the division, and Brooke herself shows no sign of advancement. At this point, WWE would be wise to cut their losses and end the feud prematurely, because nobody is buying what they’re selling here.
