The odds weren't with Alexa Bliss and Carmella last night. Going-up against the Survivor Series captain and SmackDown Women’s Champion, they were but a ragtag set of miscreants competing against the women’s division’s leading lights. The odds meant nothing in the end, however, and the dastardly duo’s diversionary tactics saw them overcome Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch, and establish their dominance on the road to the next PPV.

For the second consecutive week, Alexa emerged as one of SmackDown’s biggest stars. After pinning Becky, she threw the post-match interviewer out of the ring and cut another convincing promo on the company’s other women. Raw’s Bayley and Charlotte were put on notice, and after once again promising to end Becky’s “15 minutes of fame,” the “Wicked Witch of SmackDown” reaffirmed her desire to become champion.

Becky and Alexa will face-off next week, and the challenger is in a great position. She took a big hit in losing to Naomi at No Mercy, but got her win back a few weeks later, and has remained a constant thorn in Becky’s side since her return from injury. The duo have done great work to build heat for their long-awaited showdown, and Alexa’s holding all the cards.
