There's talk that Brock Lesnar will once again lock horns with Roman Reigns come WrestleMania 34. This hollow Brock vs. Jinder match at Survivor Series could be used to explain why. Further, if WWE establish a reason now, then it adds excitement to the upcoming Royal Rumble to know then that Reigns likely wouldn't be picked as an unwanted winner.

Someone like Reigns doesn't need to qualify for a 'Mania title match at this point. He's already a headliner, and the focus should be on causing friction between he and the Universal Champ without the predictable Rumble story. Therefore, after his mumps have died down, bring Roman out with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, have The Shield dominate Brock and stand tall.

If WWE are willing to do everything to make it clear that Lesnar vs. Reigns is happening, have Roman hold the title aloft as Survivor Series goes off the air. What was once a pay-per-view revolving around Raw vs. SmackDown would immediately turn into one setting the scene for next Spring's supershow, only with the added dynamic of The Shield.
