5 HUGE NXT TakeOver: XXV Predictions You Need To Know

The weirdest match on this TakeOver card is also one of the most interesting, as Tyler Breeze returns to the gold and black brand to challenge for Velveteen Dream's North American Championship.

This one was set up on NXT TV a few weeks ago. Dream was in the ring, cutting a typically braggadocios promo in which he claimed that everyone wanted a piece of him, but he is too big to hold. While telling the world to put some respect on his name, the former Patrick Clark was interrupted by Breeze. 'Prince Pretty' was back in Full Sail for the first time since losing to Ricochet at last November's tapings. Two of developmental's flashiest, most flamboyant characters ever then bantered each other off in one of the year's most fun segments to date, with Breeze decking Dream after posing for a selfie with the champ, and now we're here: a first-time ever era vs. era clash.

It'll be interesting to see if Breeze can still go after so long wasting away on the main roster. As awesome as he was back in the day, it has been a long, long time since he worked a big singles match. Whatever the case, it's safe to assume that he was only brought in as a filler challenger.

Winner: Velveteen Dream.
