If any TakeOver: XXV match guarantees chaos, this is it.

The NXT Tag Team Championships became ownerless when War Raiders were called up to the main roster soon after their blistering performance versus Aleister Black and Ricochet in New York, and promptly became a joke through all the Viking Experience nonsense. Ivar and Erik have since accomplished the square root of naff all on Monday Night Raw.

In their absence, NXT's top four tag teams started squabbling over who should be next to claim the belts, and that's why this match exists.

The go-home episode of NXT TV saw Lorcan and Burch vs. the Forgotten Sons go to a no-contest when the Street Profits interfered before the Undisputed Era came out and destroyed everyone with chairs, standing tall in the end. It was a suitably insane way to lead into a match that promises big spots and bigger bumps.

As far as winners go, Street Profits feel like the right choice. They've improved boatloads since they began moonlighting in Gabe Sapolsky's EVOLVE, Forgotten Sons are still rough, Undisputed have already been at the top, and while Lorcan and Burch are vanguards, it's hard to imagine them with NXT gold.

Winners: Street Profits.
