5 NWO Mistakes WWE Should Avoid With Balor Club

2. Avoid Overpopulation Like The Plague

The first incarnation of the New World Order consisted of 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. That's it. Three of the most elite superstars in professional wrestling at the time, the group was powerful and dripping with credibility. The group threatened to destroy WCW, and if any collection of stars could it was these three.

The group grew, adding The Giant for extra protection, Ted DiBiase for financial clout and Syxx for, I don't know, reasons. Even at this point it kind of made sense. What went wrong however was that the faction never stopped growing, adding member after member until it seemed as though half the roster was affiliated with them.

Any special aura created by joining the group was dead. Wrestling legends such as Brian Adams, Stevie Ray and Michael Wallstreet eventually got involved. No offence to those three, but their presence in the group diluted it for sure.

This is easily avoidable, and must be avoided in order for Balor Club to succeed. No one wants to see Balor Club grow and grow until we see Sin Cara throwing up the Too Sweet with R-Truth.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
