1. Cliff Compton
Cliff Compton, what an entertaining man. Compton was brought into OVW in 2005 and was with the company for about four months until he, Jimmy Snuka Jr. and Kara Drew formed one of my favorite stables. Cliff started going under the name Dice Domino, Snuka was Deuce Shade, and Drew was Cherry Pie. Together these three formed The Throw-Backs. These three had a 1950s, greaser gimmick and it was brilliant, and one of the most entertaining teams in quite some time. They later changed their name to The Untouchables and just became Domino, Deuce, & Cherry. They would go on to win the OVW tag team title and the Deep South Wrestling tag team titles at the same time. They were a great team and eventually got called up to Smackdown. They debuted out of nowhere with a tag match. No vignettes or anything. Thats one thing that has always bothered me about the call-up of Deuce n Domino, they didnt have any vignettes. They were 1950s greasers, the vignettes could have been incredible. They feuded with London and Kendrick and eventually won the Tag Team title. They would lose those belts to MVP & Matt Hardy and we rarely heard from them again. They dropped Cherry and picked up Maryse for some reason. Deuce n Domino ended up breaking up and Domino would be released in 2008. Cliff went back to work at OVW and has since moved to Ring of Honor where he is a member of S.C.U.M. I cant help but feel that after seeing everything this man possesses, that the WWE really wasted him. I loved the Deuce n Domino gimmick, but what they did with him after that was a travesty.
