5 Positives & 5 Negatives Heading Into WWE Money In The Bank 2017
7. Negative: Where’s The Mid-Card Gone?
With Styles, Nakamura, Owens, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin being crammed into the Money in the Bank ladder match, you’d have thought that would open up spots elsewhere on the card for others to get a place on the PPV.
Except, it hasn’t quite gone like that. Underutilised mid-carders like Luke Harper, Tye Dillinger and the elusive Rusev could easily have stepped up to the plate to fill out the card, but instead they seem to have been left in the lurch.
Not even Mojo Rawley, who the company has seemed fairly high on in the past and in recent history, has been able to get much of a look in of late.
With just five matches announced for the PPV as of time of writing, there could still be time for some guys to get a run out on Sunday evening - but without any build or preceding TV time, is there really much point in bothering at all?
Unfortunately, we might be looking at another Fastlane Filler Festival.
