5 Things AEW Must Steal From WCW (And 5 It Shouldn’t!)

3. No: Going 3 Hours On Dynamite/Collision

Sorry in advance for the acid reflux.

Raw has improved under Triple H's watch (for the most part), but WWE's flagship still suffers because three hours is just too long for a weekly wrestling program. WCW learned that firsthand back in the 90s when they turned Nitro into a bloated Monday night epic.

The temptation will always be there for promoters to add another hour. TV executives offer cold hard cash to produce just 60 minutes more, and costs for doing so are fairly low when companies are already set up for two hours anyway. However, most would agree this is something Tony Khan must avoid like the plague.

Dynamite and/or Collision going three hours would be horrific. Two hours is a sweet spot that should be protected, and there's simply no need to oversaturate the core fanbase by flinging even more content their way.

Consider this one thing AEW shouldn't steal from WWE as well as WCW.
