5 Things That Need To Happen At WWE Money In The Bank 2018

1. Something Resembling A 5 Star Match

Alright, I am going to lengths here to stress that I am not some hipster wrestling fan who whips his trousers off at every NJPW show or looks down his sweaty nose at people who don’t call him Bryan Danielson, but, !*$% hell, Dominion might have changed the game slightly.

For a time, the balance sort of was that if you were really into your wrestling you’d watch other companies because that’s where the great matches were, but if you just wanted some entertaining stories with decent payoffs that were easy to both watch and follow, you had WWE. I liked that dynamic, it worked really well.

But since WrestleMania. I think, in fact, since the very moment Styles Nakamura at Backlash ended with a double tko low-blow, WWE hasn’t been delivering on anything.

The matches have been bad, and the writing has been worse. Now that’s ok, these things happen sometimes, but it’s coincided with their nearest competitor !*$% killing it. They have to do something to redress this and giving us all a match to talk about is the only way.

It could be one of the ladder matches, it could finally be Styles Nakamura whatever, just something that reclaims the conversation and reminds us why we stick with it. The actual star rating is irrelevant, just something of serious quality.
