7. Mustn’t - Have Him Wrestle Too Soon
… it should be a long while before we see Bray Wyatt actually wrestle. While he’s by no means a bad worker, the actual between-the-ropes action isn’t Windham Rotunda’s strongest suit. He has good-to-great singles matches with Daniel Bryan and John Cena to his name, but some shockers, too (though he’s often been hamstrung with gimmicks and inappropriate opponents).
The longer we’re made to wait for Bray Wyatt’s first match, the more special it’s going to be; furthermore the less likely it’ll be that he winds up feeling like just another member of the roster.
He shouldn’t wrestle in 2022 at all, really. To have him re-debut in Saudi Arabia would be a huge shame, and Survivor Series is building up to be more sports, less entertainment (though if built properly, there could be room for his stable in a WarGames match).
The very earliest we should be seeing Wyatt step back in the ring is next January’s Royal Rumble. Patience will be a virtue here; big Bray builds tend to work well, and slowburn booking will send excitement levels through the roof. And when it does come…
