Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre almost had a perfect night if not for one misstep, but he still had a great evening overall for someone who wasn’t even billed for the show.

McIntyre interjected himself into the show-opening brawl between Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu, waiting until they had nearly punched themselves out before shoving Fatu through one table, then low-blowing and powerbombing Cody through another table.

Afterward, the Scottish Warrior paraded around the ring a bit before telling Cathy Kelley backstage that the attack was “a statement to everyone on the roster” that if they run their mouths, they’re going to get more of the same.

Had he not showed up again, Drew would have been riding high. But he returned after the main event to try to take out Sami Zayn, who had won the four-way match to challenge McIntyre at the Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, Drew whiffed on his attack and got dumped to the outside, where he just pointed and yelled at Sami.

Despite that stumble at the end, McIntyre made his mark on the program as the world champ.
