5 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (28 Nov - Results & Review)

Downs...

2. “It Might Need To Be Me”

B-FAB Michin
WWE

One would think that WWE would pause to put thought into some follow up for Jade Cargill before she won the Women's Title from Tiffany Stratton earlier this month, but no. They clearly didn't. That's why Jade is marauding around the place bullying everyone like she's some female retelling of Ryback. Don't get it wrong: That presentation works for her, but only when those she's running through have some credibility.

Sadly, the likes of B-FAB and Michin have none at the moment. Fans have been conditioned to view both as peripheral actors on the show. They're rarely a threat to anybody, and there's next to no actual character development put in place for them either. That's why it's genuinely difficult to get excited about the thought of Jade squashing Michin.

It'll achieve nothing. Also, if Hunter thinks he can just magically pull a title shot out of thin air for the ex-Mia Yim, then...yeah, not great. On SmackDown, Michin said she might have to be the one to put Cargill in her place. This promo aired after the Chelsea Green stuff earlier, which was a sizeable step up from anything Jade is doing with B-FAB and Michin; at least Chelsea has some worth and everyone watching is in on the gag that she's a clown who occasionally fails up the way.

That character is easy to write for, because there's no end to the number of hilarious scrapes and jams Green can find herself in. Contrast her to Michin and FAB. They're dull, and so is this pitch for the former vs. Jade.
