5. Jade Ruins Chelsea Green’s Celebration

Look, they’re obviously killing time with Jade Cargill until Bianca Belair is back, but gunning down Chelsea’s celebration was a step up from slapping Michin and B-FAB around. At least it fits with the whole, ‘Chelsea can’t have nice things’ characterisation she has going on. This was short, sweet and to the point. There's been some hate for it, but it's in-keeping with Green getting egg on her face constantly.

Admittedly, it was kinda weird initially that Jade went after another heel, but that’s the tale being told here. She doesn’t discriminate between babyface and heel. The new Women's Champ said so in a promo with Cathy Kelley after shooting Alba Fyre and Chelsea down without breaking sweat. If anybody in this division thinks they're better than Cargill, then she's coming to get them.

Just as well Vince isn't around or he'd turn her into the f'n Boogeywoman.

Seriously though, this all clicked into place. Chelsea was glorious when addressing her "adoring public", Fyre works as a temporary firewall (Fyre-wall?) to the Women's United States Champ, Jade looked like an absolute killer, then Green's planned pyro display went off for Cargill rather than for her. That was actually proper slick.

Hey, maybe WWE can get an unlikely babyface turn out of this for Chels. She's somehow likeable despite being an arrogant villain, and there's always the chance she'll go the Santino Marella route eventually. No, not being cuffed by Jim Cornette. Playing an endearing clown who shows some underdog spirit during matches.

Green would be awesome at that.
