Chris Jericho's big mistake; AEW references WWE again; 'Dumpster Match' confirmed?

It was shocked faces all-round on Friday's edition of Rampage.

AEW set up a big-time match for their upcoming Dynamite: Quake By The Lake special between Chris Jericho and a member of the Blackpool Combat Club, and also started some sudden build towards next week's Battle Of The Belts III. On that, Tony Khan might want to have a real good think about the latter program's necessity, because it just sounds like total throwaway.

Elsewhere, Stokely Hathaway has been busy recruiting some new clients and could be setting up his very own stable in All Elite - the former NXT manager already has Jade Cargill (and her 'Baddies') in his midst, but it's looking more and more likely that he'll have a roster of workers that'd make Bobby Heenan jealous.

OK, maybe not.

Other notable happenings from Rampage include Wardlow getting some new erm...mates, AEW dropping in yet another WWE reference, Anna Jay showing definite signs of improvement in-ring and The Acclaimed showing why they're on track to be breakout babyfaces.

Here are all the 'Ups' and the 'Downs' from AEW's latest episode.
