5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (July 29)

Ups...

5. Ethan Page = Stokely Hathaway Guy?

Dan Lambert might be about to get the old heave-ho from Ethan Page.

Page beat Leon Ruffin in a short squash on Friday's Rampage, and Stokely Hathaway (alongside Leila Grey) watched on with interest backstage. Yes, they did so in that unnatural way that pro wrestling people watch TV. No, this is one trope that won't go away even though it absolutely needs to.

Back to the positives; there are way worse ideas out there than adding Ethan to Hathaway's lineup and moving him away from Lambert/Men Of The Year. That's not a dig at Dan, because he's a good hype man on the mic, but Men Of The Year's story has kinda died a slow death.

Page has the skills to make a stab of things on his own without Scorpio Sky, and it'd be fun to see what Stokely could do in his corner. Of course, 'All Ego' isn't the only man that Hathaway has been trying to recruit lately. The man's been busy!
