What can you say about the Lyon crowd during Backlash?

It’s difficult to quantify to adequately describe the fans’ interactions and reactions throughout the PLE other than to say it was other-wordly. If last year’s Backlash in Puerto Rico was a 10/10, Backlash France might have to be rated a 10.5/10.

The crowd was into everything from start to finish – they were even popping for Byron Saxton during the kickoff show and chanted for Charles Robinson – and they elevated what at times felt like a supercharged house show and turned it into a memorable experience.

Atmosphere is an important element of a wrestling show, and the Lyon audience deserves credit for creating a tremendous atmosphere that masked the at-times mid show.
