3. Women’s Triple Threat Fails To Hit Heights

Firstly, it’s a positive that Jacy Jayne won to qualify for Money In The Bank, because she’s a good fit there. However, this women’s match wasn’t as good as the men’s counterpart on this week’s SmackDown. Look, it’s only being compared to that because both were Triple Threats, but this trio even copied the same superplex spot from the guys - an agent backstage really should’ve avoided that like the plague. Weren't they paying attention? These things should be ironed out ahead of time, especially in samey matches.

Overall, the bout was slightly disjointed. It wasn't ever outright bad by any means, but this is a recurring problem with samey qualifiers. These Triple Threats get old rather quickly, especially if there are multiple on the same 2-hour broadcast. That's going to be something to look out for if you're already bored of them. WWE still has some spots to fill in both ladder matches, so it's Triple Threat Mania and that's that.

Also, Jade Cargill didn’t actually stop the ref from counting after Alexa’s Sister Abigail on Jayne. That looked a bit rubbish, and the official was forced to stop her count even though nothing was impacting her hands/arms. Things would've been different had Jade got there just a split second earlier.

Jacy, Alexa Bliss and Cargill suffered because Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Rey Fenix was so much better and came before it. All 3 were kinda hung out to dry by creative and those aforementioned agents who simply weren't paying close enough attention.
