5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 17 - Results & Review)
3. Nice Promo Into Match Combo
Paul Heyman cut a ridiculously good promo bigging up Solo Sikoa for putting John Cena out to pasture. Then, LA Knight interrupted to tell The Bloodline he plans to take them all out one-by-one before getting Roman Reigns all on his lonesome. That, in turn, led to a predictably good match vs. Jimmy Uso.
It'd be a lie to say Jimmy is the most thrilling WWE star on the map right now, but he's still capable in-ring and can work this kind of bout in his sleep. This fan isn't sure WWE can stretch LA's current arc all the way to Royal Rumble though, so creative might have to get erm...creative lest Knight lose some steam.
Nobody wants that to happen.
Still, all of this was fine for what it was. Arguably, depending on your point of view regarding WarGames potentially turning into a 5-on-5 affair, having Cody Rhodes show up out of the blue gives LA a possible Survivor Series berth too. Maybe.
