5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 15)

2. No Time For The Queen’s Crown

Right, this is getting silly.

Last week, WWE handed both Queen's Crown quarter finals a measly four minutes between them. On Friday, the promotion spat right in the tournament's face yet again by giving the semi final between Carmella and Zelina Vega less than three minutes of ring time.

Christ knows why the E would decide to dump all over their own "first time ever" tourney this way - they're only making the whole exercise look rubbish by booking such short matches. Is it good to see Zelina finally get some shine? Absolutely, but she's reached the Crown Jewel final with a combined five mins of wrestling.

That doesn't exactly make the Queen's Crown look like some gruelling multi-match fight for survival or dominance. Instead, it comes across like something from the old Diva days, and that's not a compliment. Why couldn't they shave off that 'Happy Talk' garbage and give the time to Vega and 'Mella? Why?!
