5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 23)

Downs...

3. Miz-oney In The Bank

Otis Tucker The Miz John Morrison
WWE

JBL, Ron Simmons and Teddy Long tried, but even they couldn't save the nonsensically bad Miz vs. Otis feud from further ignominy. This rivalry just hasn't clicked, for multiple reasons. The legal battles, poor comedy and drawn out nature of things have combined to make for one of 2020's worst angles.

Also, Miz, John Morrison and even Tucker are all Raw stars, so why were they even here on SmackDown? This is making a mockery of the Draft and sucking energy from broadcasts. That's a lethal combination, but the pain will hopefully stop after Otis beats Miz at Hell In A Cell (which he should).

Fingers crossed this is the final time such buffoonery will pollute the airwaves on Friday nights. Otis was one of the most over WWE acts of the summer - what the hell happened to that? He's been woefully misused ever since capturing that briefcase.

Please move on, WWE.
