5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Collision (11 May - Results & Review)

1. Swerve Gets Some Revenge

Swerve Strickland
AEW

Brian Cage will never win 'Promo Of The Year', but he did well with his speech justifying The Mogul Embassy's attack on old leader Swerve Strickland during Dynamite midweek. On Collision, Cage said that Swerve ditched the group until he suddenly needed them to even the odds against Christian Cage and pals.

That was logical, and so was Strickland rushing out to ambush Cage and The Gates Of Agony as revenge. The bloodlust of Swerve is something that's never gone away even mid-babyface turn, and that's worth mentioning; he might be baby rather than heel, but Strickland hasn't magically turned over a new leaf. He's still vicious.

Now, a match vs. Cage should keep the champ busy heading into his bout with Cage at DoN. Collision presumably won't be the last time anyone sees Swerve kick the ever living sh*t out of his old Embassy during the road to that pay-per-view. More cinder block action incoming.

For now, it was fab to see the champion in an intense angle on Saturday.
