5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (2 Feb)

Ups...

5. Paige Here

Paige VanZant
AEW

The segment was the worst AEW has delivered so far in 2022, but it was good to see Paige VanZant back in the company.

This was the first time the American Top Team fighter has been around since the camp's summer 2021 feud with The Inner Circle. That she was reintroduced in such a nonsensical way is disappointing, sure, but she has a very, very good chance of becoming a very, very good professional wrestler, and if she ends up flattening Rhodes, that'll be a decent start.

PVZ has the intangibles down already. She comes off like a star on television, shows charisma, feels like she belongs, and looks like she is invested in this. If she can become even a halfway passable in-ring wrestler, Tony Khan will be printing money for years to come.

At this stage, she is a must-sign.
