5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (20 April)

4. Brittsburgh, PA

Britt Baker
AEW

Let's forgive Britt Baker for her spotty post-match promo after felling Danielle Kamela. The former AEW Women's World Champion came off short of confidence as she addressed her hometown crowd, stumbling over her sentences several times in her diatribe on the rest of the division. Jamie Hayter is going to mop Toni Storm's face with the ring, apparently. Surely even Hayter isn't that strong?

The uncharacteristically poor promo is to be forgiven for the immense carnival atmosphere of Baker's latest Brittsburgh homecoming. Always coming off like a million dollars before her people, Britt was accompanied by a couple of Pittsburgh Steelers here, who handed her the branded glove used to put Kamela away. Short, over, and with Kamela serving up just enough solid heel work to draw heat, this was enjoyable television across the board.
