5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sep 24)

Adam Cole is visibly having the time of his life in AEW.

Cole joined The Young Bucks in six-man tag work against Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy during the first hour of Rampage. Throughout, the former NXT man lapped up the fiery New York atmosphere and showed what's coming once he properly beds in.

Let this be a lesson to Tony Khan - AEW fans want to see wrestlers, not MMA fighters. The difference in reaction towards this quarter hour and the one involving the UFC lot later on was night and day. Cole also set about the task of readying singles bouts with Cage and Jungle Boy in the future.

Both of those are sure to be stunning. The way Cole chewed out a disappointed JB post-match was especially good. This, being honest, was very Shawn Michaels. AEW's new boy was setting up his next segment before the prior one had even ended. He's learned from the best.
