5. Putting Over Others

Just a quick positive about Triple H’s unending induction speech, as there were some nice moments mixed in with the prattling.

Levesque ran through a litany of people who influenced his career in some way or another, and he did a nice job of spreading the praise around. Notably, he was effusive in his praise of Chyna, calling her “the anchor of DX” and the mother of the group, keeping them grounded when they likely would have flown off int a bad direction. He credited her with being responsible for opening the doors that many female wrestlers have walked through during the past 20-plus years.

HHH then gave Mick Foley his flowers for giving him “the gift of toughness,” putting Hunter over on his way out. He said that Mick was one of his favorite opponents and people of all time.

Another nice moment came toward the end when he talked about each of his daughters individually, sharing their passions with the audience and saying how his health scare a few years ago made him live more for them and the moments with his family.
