5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (July 24)

Judgment Day continues running Raw; WWE treads some water before SummerSlam.

If The Bloodline ship navigates SmackDown through some occasionally-choppy waters on Fridays, then Judgment Day steers the course for Raw on Mondays. Finn Bálor, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio are the key act on the flagship at the moment, and that's unlikely to change for some time to come.

This week was a bit of a strange one though, because SummerSlam on 5 August is pretty much set; even matches that hadn't been made official on television (such as Logan Paul vs. Ricochet) seemed like a safe bet, but it was nice to put a bow on that here. However, WWE suffered because of Raw's much-moaned-about three hour run time.

Everything sagged a little in the middle, and the closing segment failed to relight the fire in front of a knackered crowd.

You might be surprised by some of the 'Downs' here. Being honest, some of the 'Ups' may come as a slight shock too. It's hard to put one's finger on, but an awful lot of important players just seemed to be going through the motions, almost like they're saving their best for next week's 'go home' PLE push.

Here's all the good and bad!
