5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 3 - Results & Review)

Boy, Roman Reigns and LA Knight are racking up these stunning face-to-face segments.

The pair's duelling promos have been so magical that LA will be totally fine even if he loses his golden opportunity to shut Roman's mouth at Crown Jewel. There was so much ace banter laced throughout both speeches here, including Roman saying Knight's only achievement is to "cosplay a redneck version of my cousin". ZING!

Ever the team player, Reigns then kept it quiet so LA's rebuttal was one of the skit's lingering messages. Knight is a banter machine himself, and it's heartening that fans are so onboard with pretty much everything he hits out with. That'll stand the babyface in good stead long-term.

This confrontation kicked SmackDown off with a bang. Things even threatened to get physical again before Nick Aldis and an army of referees kept champ and challenger apart. Sensational television here, and a reminder of how cutting Roman's character can be when he feels cornered.
