5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 7)

1. Another Intercontinental Winner

Sheamus Gunther

F*ck me, can Sheamus and Gunther just wrestle every night? This wasn't a patch on their Clash At The Castle classic, but it was still a stellar display of hard-hitting pro rasslin'. It's genuinely a wonder that these two workhorses aren't just piles of dust mid-ring by this stage.

They hit harder than most.

Gunther belting Sheamus with his shillelagh worked too, and no-one will be gutted if that opens the door to a third match between these men. Book that right now, please. Hell, stick it on Saturday's pay-per-view card and give them 15 minutes. Or, just run this back on SmackDown next week.

Sure, the unexplained 'Brazilian tap' spot referenced in the 'Downs' is a sore point, but even that couldn't hope to ruin the special kind of magic these lads produce when the bell sounds. They just love working alongside one another - that's obvious.
