5 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 1)

4. AEW Starks

Ricky Starks
AEW

Christened 'The King of AEW Dark' by Cody Rhodes on a recent media call, Ricky Starks shone again on last night's show, flexing, mean-mugging, and trash-talking his way past Damian Fenrir.

Part of the appeal of these Starks bouts is listening to Taz relentlessly putting his ally over on commentary. A bigger part of it is 'Absolute' himself, who does a great job of playing to the camera, injecting his squashes with personality, and making every small detail matter.

A Roshambo ended Fenrir's night in quick, effective fashion, following another worthwhile workout for Ricky.
