5 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Dec 1)

3. Danny Limelight Steps Up, Delivers Vs. Brandon Cutler

Recent months have seen Danny Limelight establish himself as one of Dark's most obnoxious enhancement talents, in a good way. The guy is extremely good at making you want to see him eat a punch to the face. Here, against Brandon Cutler, he delivered his most impressive performance yet.

This was more competitive than may have been expected and thrived because of it. Through Cutler is working with increased confidence, Limelight made him suffer here, continually working the arm. An effective strategy that forced Cutler to alter his gameplan significantly, with Limelight heeling it up in the spaces between moves.

Danny countering a tope into a Fujiwara armbar looked particularly impressive, as he continued to decimate the limb, though he eventually fell to the TPK. Good stuff.
