5. Women Advance Their Story

Not everything on Raw needs to be huge bells and whistles, fireworks, and fists flying. Sometimes, a simple couple of promos will do the trick.

Stephanie Vaquer first announced that she is ready to defend her Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank, but Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch will need to face each other next week on Raw to see who will head to the PLE. Simple, easy, and direct from a confident champion.

Later, Lynch noted that it had been two years since she last challenged for the world title, and yet she’s made it much more relevant and interesting just in the two months since she returned (where’s the lie?). Enter Liv, who tried to lay claim to being the person who has made the Women’s World Championship interesting and thus deserved her rematch.

Becky, however, cut her down by saying Morgan should have no problem winning next week if she truly deserves the title match, “but you don’t even believe that you’re capable of doing that, do you?” And Liv had NOTHING.

Again, simple stuff here, but it’s all in service of a women’s world title scene that looks like it could be entertaining for a while if booked properly.
