WWE Raw Rhea Ripley Adam Pearce Iyo Sky Bianca Belair

At this late stage, there is no denying that WWE gloriously fumbled this Women’s World Championship feud between Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair. The only thing left to do is try to land the plane and hope the match is so great on the night that it makes fans and critics alike forget about the shoddy booking.

Monday’s contract signing was smart in that it was extremely brief. However, they couldn’t resist a passing remark from Raw GM Adam Pearce, saying he was wrong to expect that these women could keep their emotions in check and act professionally. It served as a reminder of just how off-the-rails this entire feud has been, and that they could have simply had Iyo say she wanted Rhea added to the match the week after she won the title. Boom, done.

Instead, Bianca – who actually earned her way into the match – was getting booed Monday night for telling the truth and not even complaining, while Rhea – the whiny child in all of this – was cheered, even as she pie-faced Sky. That’s the other issue, as unless Iyo wins at WrestleMania, she will come off looking the worst of the bunch, getting “little sis’d” by Rhea and Bianca despite being the champ.

This was the best of a bad scenario, but honestly, the best thing they could do is just air a heavily edited video package next week and keep all three off television.
