5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 8)

4. KO Can’t Be Happy

Oh no, KO!

Everything about Kevin Owens' booking right now has the air of somebody who's on the way out. Yours truly said it last week, and it's worth saying again: KO's feud with Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss has been fine, but it won't really lead to anything, especially post-Draft.

Corbin and Moss remain on SmackDown, whereas Owens has been shifted to Raw. Plus, they've already wrestled (on last week's episode), so it's not like WWE can dangle that carrot in front of fans before the rosters split on 22 October.

Nothing has been formally announced, obviously, but it does seem like Owens has told WWE he's offski once his current contract expires. That'd explain why he's being jobbed out to a comedy double act. It doesn't, however, explain why he was part of the Draft.
