5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 25

3. Oh Brother

Matt and Jeff Hardy famously caught the wrestling bug watching Randy Savage go the distance at WrestleMania IV 21 years earlier, and spent the next several years wrestling each other every day in taped trampoline scraps that eventually helped get them signed.

This was, theoretically, their fantasy booking come to life. Tragically, the reality was altogether different.

Matt had been slotted into a heel position initially arranged for a returning Christian before Vince McMahon swerved his audience for daring to predict it - but neither brother could summon either the love or the hate from a crowd that had prepared themselves for something else.

As was often the case during the mid-2000s, Matt and Jeff really clicked away from the 'Grandest Stage' glare one month later. A "WrestleMania Moment" was reserved in fate for them, but they'd be made to wait.
