The company-branded WrestleMania Moments often failed to meet the legendary status of the actual ones generated long in the show's legacy, but Matt and Jeff Hardy's return to WWE in 2017 was among the greatest in the history of the 'Grandest Stage'.

The addition of a ladder to the Raw Tag Team Title match was the ideal way to slot them in, with the veterans aiding the flagship roster regulars piecing together what would have been the match of the night without the Goldberg/Brock Lesnar superfight.

The scale of their return ultimately dwarfed everybody else in the match, but WWE clearly had this expectation - Matt and Jeff went over to complete an inter-promotional "Expedition Of Gold". Enzo & Cass, The Club and The Bar were understandably shellshocked by their arrival - this was a shocker that made perfect storyline sense.
