5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 4)

1. No Holds Barred

Becky Lynch Asuka

Becky Lynch and Asuka have chemistry for days and could likely work matches like this 'No Holds Barred' effort with their eyes closed. Both women worked their socks off to give fans there live something to shout about, but their match accomplished more than just that.

'Big Time Becks' thrust herself back into title contention with the win.

This should be the last time Becky and Asuka wrestle one another for a while, but what a way to close the book on the feud for now. Asuka's babyface fire was on point here, and Lynch's desperation (which has been her main characteristic for a while now) came to the fore late on too.

Becky vs. Bianca Belair is the only real marquee match WWE has for the Raw Women's Champion, and this was acceptable setup for it. It's really hard to grumble about a scrap this well-worked, or with Lynch being number one contender yet again.

What was the alternative? Natalya?
