2. SmackDown Chamber Match Pitch-Perfect

What a fantastic piece of booking the SmackDown #1 contender’s Elimination Chamber match was.

All six men – even King Corbin – were on Sunday night, firing on all cylinders and hitting huge moves almost nonstop. Daniel Bryan and Cesaro opened the match and had a fast-paced opening segment before King Corbin joined them and dominated his portion before Sami Zayn was forcibly brought into the match.

Corbin was eliminated first, as he had zero shot of winning, and Kevin Owens dished out Stunners to everyone, sending Zayn packing. But in a great innovative spot, Jey Uso trapped KO’s arm in the door and proceeded to superkick him repeatedly, then splash Owens to eliminate him. Uso managed to pin Cesaro, but Bryan overcame and hit the Running Knee to win the chamber match.

This was a 35-minute match that flew by because it was so well-paced. Everyone looked good in the match, with Cesaro getting some really nice moments, and Uso resorting to underhanded tactics to stop Roman Reigns’ nemesis KO. All told, this was a solid, solid opener.
