5. Mansoor Follows Ali’s Advice

Unfortunately, this will probably all go nowhere and be forgotten in two weeks, but Mustafa Ali and Mansoor had an interesting exchange on Monday night that was pretty harmless.

Ali approached the new superstar and asked if he was ready to deal with Drew Gulak if he started fighting dirty, such as reaching for a handful of tights. He warned that you can’t assume everyone plays fair on Raw.

And wouldn’t you know it, during Mansoor’s match against Gulak, Drew tried a rollup with a handful of tights, only for Mansoor to smoothly reverse it and get a pinning combination of his own for the win. This might lead to Ali being a coach or “whisperer” for Mansoor to win him over, which would be far more interesting than leading RETRIBUTION.

Whatever, it probably won’t go anywhere, but it was inoffensive, so we’ll give it positive marks.
