5 Ups & 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 7)

4. A Rare Hit

It’s rare to say it these days, but WWE actually got the booking right with its tag team battle royal. We’ll get into the winners in a bit, but the overall booking was done decently too.

Think about it: The Viking Raiders and Mace & T-Bar, two bruising tag teams – and the only ones who really could physically pose a threat to Omos – both had good showings, with the Raiders winning, and T-Bar & Mace being eliminated by everyone else after decimating their opponents.

RK-Bro hung in there well too, with Riddle saving Randy Orton after being eliminated (showing team unity), but they’re just not there yet as a team. New Day is the Teflon team, as they could show their rears a bit here and be fine in the long run. And then John Morrison and Lince Dorado were at disadvantages competing on their own, so they were dispatched more easily.

It wasn’t a classic or even something to rewatch, but you can’t find much fault with the booking here, so we’ll give this an “up” here.
